On a desktop or lap setup, the classic XP version is usually the best choice. What feels right for you?

Windows 7 remains the top choice so far, but I'm curious about what Windows 10 offers next.

Windows 8.1 works on all my devices. It replaced XP and 7, but I was drawn to it.

ElementaryOS Luna stands out as my top choice, with OS X Mavericks close behind, then Ubuntu 14, and finally Windows across all versions. As a PC gamer, Windows is essential for me.

I prefer Windows 7 for its familiarity, yet I appreciate the control I have over Linux—especially Arch—more than what I get from Windows 7.

I initially preferred Windows 7, but eventually settled for Windows 8.1 Pro. On the Linux side, I'm confident with Ubuntu and Elementary OS. Elementary seems a bit easier, though I've spent so much time with Ubuntu that I still feel at ease.

I tried an updated version of Mac OSX, but I’m not sure what the exact name was. I usually use Windows 7 or 8, maybe something like Windows 9 or 10, but I’m not sure. I enjoy both but want to explore Macs and Linux more directly.
