Windows Vista. The oddest thing about connecting an Xbox controller was you could control the whole PC, almost like with a PlayStation or Xbox. It surprised everyone because this feature never really gained traction, and nobody ever mentions it. You can mimic it with Steam, but it lacks the original functionality. And side apps like Rainmeter work well.
