Was it a serious question? Did your dad say you're mature, are you sure they won't let you play because of violence, or maybe they don't want you getting addicted to playing too much? Honestly, it's not a bad game at all—it's low quality and the mechanics feel fake. The Simpsons seems more realistic to me.

It feels similar to 2015... my parents never covered my RuneScape subscription back then, yet I could play Mafia 1 and GTA 3 when I was about five.

my parents never purchased runescape membership for me at all, probably around 2006. Maybe earlier, like 2005 or 2004—those were good days. I also get behind your AOE jokes.

My parents believed GTA 3 was the devil. They were extremely upset when I played GTA SA at a friend's house. That moment made me realize GTA SA could be the best game ever, which is why no one would deny me playing it if it truly was exceptional.
