I don’t understand the steps needed. The external drive boots via USB, not the internal one, and I need to install Windows. Note: I created a GPT image and accessed BIOS using F2 while holding the power button.

The device was built during the XP period and only allows legacy MBR booting. It does not support GPT. GPT is intended for EFI BIOS.
