Windows exists mainly for game compatibility. That’s all it is really for. Otherwise I’d choose Linux.

The search results aren't very effective; try using Google instead. The operating system you're using might affect the experience.

I just noticed there are a few more, though most are outdated because the community has expanded quite a bit lately.

I dual boot 8.1 and Yosemite. About a month ago, I switched back to windows 7 and that was a nightmare to use, windows 8 is so much more functional. Windows 7 multi monitor multitasking is similar to mac, very poor.

Windows 8.1 Pro is installed on my gaming PC and the Mac Bootcamp partition uses OS X 10.10 Yosemite. My MacBook Pro runs Windows 10 TE, and the second HDD is connected.

I previously used Linux on my laptop and Windows on my main computer, but I grew tired of Linux not performing well over the network and disliked OS X. Now my laptop runs Vista (everything functions smoothly), and I’m using 7 on the main system.
