The " CPU spread spectrum" option in the BIOS needs to be turned off. Based on my understanding, this adjustment is required to meet U.S. power supply standards. After disabling it, I experience no more booting problems with Windows 10 and the system feels more responsive. Motherboard: ASUS B450 Prime M-K RAM: 16GB 2666MHz CPU/GPU: Ryzen 5 3400G 225GB SSD 4TB Seagate expansion disk

I was mistaken earlier... after letting the kid play War Thunder for a while, the system started crashing repeatedly during startup. Both Windows 10 21H1 and Windows 11 x64-bit seem to freeze when you enter the passphrase and connect to the network. It doesn’t matter if it’s the network stack or USB controller issues—it happens at the installation level, not just inside the OS. I’ve switched back to Linux Mint 20.2 UMA Cinnamon on this machine.
