My build includes an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Kingston FURY Beast 16 GB, Crucial p3 plus, ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI, 3080 asus tuf gaming V2 OC, meshify 2 with specific specs, Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE, Lian Li EDGE 850W. All components are new and not for aesthetics. This is my first PC build; despite spending time researching, I forgot to install the PSU fan on the bottom. The PSU cage allows airflow, so should I place the fan at the bottom with the L extension hanging, or should I mount it higher? Would the cables handle bending this way? Or better yet, should I raise the fan and rest the L extension? The temperature situation might be okay due to the GPU drawing air, PSU down, creating a vacuum effect. The PSU itself was a good value and performed well in reviews. I’ve gathered everything but haven’t assembled it yet. Please advise.

You have three options;
1) Provide the PSU for something that was originally intended to be traditional
2) Supply the case for a Lian-Li product that included the EDGE designed from the start
3) Proceed with the PSU as it is, placing the fan upward toward the PSU's interior surface.
