Usually I give them a heads-up and have them sign something. I understand I might make a big mistake someday, but risks are what keep me going. This experience was with my dad, and we were fine with it. I wasn’t prepared for the trouble this phone caused—so many models! Repairing friends’ laptops is even more stressful.
