Hello everyone, this is someone new to the forums. I'm facing some issues with my 980M system. The specs are as follows: yesterday I attempted to overclock my GPU (Stock 980M 8GB Vbios) using nvidia inspector. Without overvolting, I achieved a +135mhz core clock and a +750 memory clock, which was quite stable with furmark. Curious and eager to push it further (I wanted to obtain the custom vBIOS from techinferno, but my account was too new to download), I increased the voltage to this setting:

https://prnt.sc/m6nxl2
(sorry for the poor screenshot).

After applying it, artifacts appeared on both of my monitors, and I became quite worried. After putting the system into sleep/standby mode, it stopped and immediately after, I reset the default settings. Since then, strange occurrences have started. When trying Portal 2, I encountered this unusual artifact on one of the screens, which I haven't seen before. Please check it out (it looked much worse than the screenshot):

https://prnt.sc/m6o0qm

This is what nvidia inspector reports after the incident when running Furmark.

My Furmark settings are as follows:
On both monitors, I occasionally see this strange artifact when the voltage exceeds 0.850mv. I couldn't capture a screenshot, but I can describe it as best as I can.
It usually appears as a white, wavy line with some black areas inside. It shows up for just a brief moment and then vanishes.

I suspect I might not have provided enough details or been clear enough. If you could clarify this, I'd appreciate it so I can post another update in this thread with more information.

DDU resolves the screen tearing problem, though an unsuccessful overclock causes it to restart. It's unclear what steps to take for a proper solution.
