Hello everyone, I purchased the following parts for my gaming PC:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 A PRO X WIFI7
Processor: Intel i9 14900KF
Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2023) Fully Modular Low Noise ATX Power Supply - ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 Compatible - 105°C Capacitors - 80 Plus Gold Efficiency
Graphics Card: Asus ProArt GeForce RTX 4080 super
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory
SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 1 TB PCIe 4.0 (up to 7,000 MB/s) NVMe M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V8P1T0BW)
I built the system as usual, but it isn’t showing any image. The graphics card remains on a steady red light even when the computer is off. I checked online and thought it might be due to insufficient power, but once the PC is running, the red light disappears. Still, no video appears on my screen.
Do you think there’s something wrong with the setup? Are there any compatibility issues? I noticed that some Z790 motherboards require a BIOS update to recognize 14th generation processors. The product description says it supports i9-14900KS, but when I checked Aorus’ site for updates, they mentioned support for i9-14900K and optimization for this model. It seems I might need to perform a BIOS update to get it working properly.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Have you positioned the rams in slots A2 and B2 and verified they fit correctly? Also, make sure all connections from your PSU to your components are secure.
What cooling solution are you using for the processor in your build?

The CPU support information indicates you need at least BIOS version F1 to work with an i9-14900KF. For details, see:

It mentions this is the first release, so you should be ready to use it right away!
Hey, thanks for answering!
I rechecked all connections!
I'm cooling the processor with: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB - Water Cooling PC, AIO CPU Water Cooler
Regarding the BIOS, apparently these Z790 they support 14th gen, but not out-of-the-box, they need the bios update, so since I don't have an old processor to use to get into the bios, and this model of motherboard doesn't have the button to trigger the usb update, I'll have to take the PC to a gaming pc repair store, so they can make the update for me!
So, I believe after updating the BIOS, it should work
