Hello everyone, my Alienware Alpha has slow Wi-Fi speeds—just 1-2 Mbps until I restart, then it jumps to normal 250-300 Mbps. The internet speed is rated at 330 Mbps, but nothing else on my devices is using bandwidth or streaming. No background processes or downloads are happening. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?
I experienced the same issue yesterday as well (need to reset my dongle). All my Android gadgets are functioning fine on Windows 10... keep going 24/7.
Do you have a single WiFi network name or multiple ones? This issue often happens when the network shifts to 2.4GHz over time due to interference, slowing performance and not reverting, which is quite common. To avoid this, I set each network to a different SSID and only manually switch to 2.4GHz when necessary, keeping 5GHz as the default.
