I chose to purchase a 9590 FX (AMD) and wanted to know if my PSU would suffice
I believe it's around 700, though I'm not entirely sure if it's 750 or 700. I'm uncertain if a 1000 w is necessary for the best results, as I don't want to risk damaging my CPU with my current PSU. It seems like a good fit would be an MSI mainboard with an R9 270x GPU that has two 6-pin connectors. Thank you for your assistance beforehand.
then obtain an R9 380x or R9 390. I’d prefer the 390, but the 380x is also a solid option.
AMD suggests using 800-1000w power supply when running that CPU. Is your PSU a high-quality tier 1 model? What motherboard and cooling solution do you have? I've heard about tier 1 and 2, but I'm not sure what they mean—should I check the box? My current setup is a Z97 motherboard with an Intel CPU. If I upgrade to the 9590, I plan to use an MSI 990FXA gaming mainboard. My cooler is a Cooler Master V6 that fits AM3+ sockets, but I could also buy a Corsair liquid cooler if I don't need another PSU. What do you recommend? Thanks for your help.

if you invest in an i5 and switch to a better GPU, the 9590 isn't really an upgrade. Some might even say it's a downgrade.

what are your current full specifications? i need to know the make and mode.
my psu is iranian-made, named green. it seems around 700 w, possibly 750. it's a company that imports licenses from abroad and produces them locally in iran, which makes it affordable.
current specs are:
- 4790 haswell non-k
- asus z-97-k motherboard
- cosmos ii case
- r9 270x asus gpu
- 2 x geil 4gb ddr3 and one corsair, lol i don't remember 8 gb ddr3
- one 60 gb kingston ssd
- two 240 gb corsair sds for drive d
- cooler master v6 cpu cooler (originally for socket 1155, but also works on this one - see other thread)
- lg tv 40 inch for monitor ^^

if i switch my GPU, i also need to update my motherboard, since its latest BIOS only supports PCI e 3, not PCIe 2, which adds complexity. i've never tried or used AMD before.
