The older AMD motherboard and CPU don't support Windows 11. With the end of Windows 10 support in October, will it be secure or feasible to keep using Windows 10? Might I need to upgrade to a brand new PC eventually? I'm sure others share my concerns.

I don't have the current system details. Could you provide more information or clarify what you mean by "your current system"?

The specifications are suitable for an AM4 chipset. A Ryzen 4000 or 5000 processor is required. The first generation 1600 model does not work. Ryzen 2600 supports Gigabyte BIOS.

Pay $30 and receive an additional year. This allows you to test whether there are better or newer choices available.

They didn't know about the $30 choice! It looks like Microsoft will keep supporting and updating Win10 even after it's no longer available.

Yes, but only for one year, at least at this stage. I wouldn't be surprised if it's available again next year... the start of the subscription for the OS.

Your motherboard is compatible with Windows 11.
ROG ZENITH EXTREME BIOS 2201 confirms this support.
Make sure to update your chipset drivers and other components before updating the BIOS; all relevant information is available on the official website.
ROG Zenith Extreme | Motherboards | ROG Global
This model includes an integrated M.2 heatsink, impressive Aura Sync RGB lighting with addressable headers, SupremeFX audio with VR functionality, and USB 3.1 Gen 2. It’s ideal for your X399 gaming setup.
rog.asus.com
Although not officially compatible, Asus has addressed the issue.
While the 2000 series was once supported, it appears to be discontinued. The 1000 series requires tmp 1.0 or Windows 10 package 2 for compatibility. The 2000 series needs tmp 2.0, which Windows 11 does support.
For the Ryzen Threadripper 2950X, this model is recommended.

Beyond the absence of security updates or bug fixes, it remains entirely secure. Issues like Spectre or meltdowns will recur, but there’s no cause for concern. Your hopes and dreams help protect your PC.
