I recently purchased a PC from a friend and wanted to reset it back to its original settings since he didn’t delete anything. It enters the reset mode, reaches about 30%, then halts and displays an error: “Windows has a problem resetting your computer: no changes have been made.” Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed? Thank you!

Download the Win 10 ISO file and install it completely from scratch. The license is linked to your motherboard, so no activation steps are required after installation. You can get the ISO here: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209

Not to mention the jack, but I can't factory reset for another reason. As soon as the computer restarts and asks for language selection, none of my devices function properly—only the specific menu options and safe mode settings are usable.
