Hello! I'm staying with my grandparents and wanted to access the internet. They mentioned they lost the WiFi password, so I checked the computer and tried to guess the IP address (the 192.168.x.x range). Eventually, I managed to locate it. This time, instead of the connection timeout error, I received a refusal message, which is the main issue here. I've tried verifying the password on their phones, but couldn't do it. Could you assist me in signing into the router? Thanks in advance!
I attempted that, though it was just one of several IP addresses I tried. Even when entering the command in CMD, it still showed the ERR_CONNECTION _TIMED_OUT error.
Have you attempted sending a ping to that IP address to check for visibility?
I sent a message to both IP addresses, and they both reported identical outcomes: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms.
The output resembles the following data:
Replies from 192.168.0.1: each packet sent and received successfully with no loss, average latency just a few milliseconds.
