Hello, I'm looking for assistance. In certain games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Trove, Rainbow Six Siege, and Dead by Daylight, my audio quality drops when the game runs smoothly. The sounds play for about one second and stop for 1.5 seconds repeatedly. This issue appears only in some titles. In contrast, Fortnite works well. I'm hoping to eliminate this problem. Thanks.

PSU: details about the device, such as make, model, power rating, age, and condition?
Check for heavy usage in gaming, video editing, or mining activities.
Utilize Resource Monitor and Task Manager to track system performance: initially without gaming and then during gaming sessions.
Run both tools sequentially but only one at a time.
Keep the relevant window active to monitor changes on your system.
The goal is to diagnose issues rather than achieve specific game results.

I don't know the age of the pc. When I first got it, the issue was there. Someone built it for me. I think the pc is in good condition but this problem bothers me. I use my pc for gaming.
When I check Resource Monitor or Task Manager, the performance looks normal.

Checked the motherboard website and saw that Realtek HD Audio Driver is listed for download. It might be related to the problem.

Hello, I'm checking the motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z87X-UD3H-CF and wondering which sound drivers are needed. On the site https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...-dl-driver, it suggests downloading the Realtek HD audio driver, but when I check via Device Manager it says High Definition audio. What drivers should I install?

Set up the Realtek audio exactly as the instructions on the site suggest. Use the drivers that came with your motherboard—don’t fret over the device manager suggestions.

High Definition also comes from your GPU, thank you for the audio through your HDMI.
