I also tested at 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz, but the result hasn't changed.

My prediction is it could be as straightforward as his Wi-Fi not supporting more than 2x2 MIMO while he uses a full 160MHz channel width, possibly with 3x3 MIMO. Checking the specific Wi-Fi card and router could reveal any existing problems.
