Do you have any idea if the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 X motherboard and CPU work together with the ASRock B450 Pro4 ATX AM4? Your question would be really helpful.

They work well together, though I think a more powerful motherboard would be better for a 3600Hz setup. Just my take.

The pro4 offers sufficient VRM power to boost a Ryzen 7 3700X, making it one of the most affordable suitable options available today.

It would handle the board well enough for light overclocking. Although it doesn’t support LLC, it still offers solid performance and is definitely worth the investment.

The pro 4 supports a 3-phase setup with six SM4336 and six SM4337 chips, which comfortably fits even a stock 3900x. In reality, most boards come with the Zen 2 BIOS now, and if the package lists Ryzen 3000 readiness, that’s confirmed. If it mentions an older BIOS, you can contact the seller or store to request an update.

others maintain comparable energy use like Zen 2, but the chipset supports higher power devices.
