I have an inverter setup and my PC is connected to the inverter switch. During power outages, the PC automatically switches to the inverter, which has been consistent until recently. Now, when a power cut happens, the PC shuts down instantly and restarts within less than a second. I’m puzzled because it used to work fine before. I’ve played Cyberpunk and experienced frequent power cuts without any issues. My system specs are: i7 10700f, Asus Dual 4060 MSI, 650W, Gigabyte H470M DS3H, 16x2 RAM, MSI 1440p, 180hz monitor.
Which inverter model are you using? What capacity does the battery it connects have?
Currently operating in UPS mode with Eco mode turned off. Switching times between mains and battery might cause brief power cuts, which could reset your system. The device handles up to 750 watts continuously, so it should work well unless many devices are connected. https://www.luminousindia.com/product/eco-watt-neo-1050
Thanks for the update. It was running in eco mode before. I switched it to UPS mode now. My PC uses only 200-300W during gaming, with an extra 40-50W from the monitor. The ceiling fans are on an inverter, but I haven’t noticed much power draw before. I’ll check if the PC shuts down when the inverter is active. If it does, I might need to get an expert to inspect the inverter parts.
