Mismatched frequencies are acceptable; the quicker RAM will adjust to match the slower ones. I’m more concerned about whether it will actually start up, since Dell tends to fail if you connect memory not listed in their QVL compatibility.

The results I receive match those of a mobile Core i3 3rd generation with a locked configuration, which my friend uses, plus he only has an IGPU on his laptop. That’s why I inquired about performance.

Other games such as Far Cry 3, Assassins Creed: Redemption, Minecraft and similar titles are available, yet my CS:GO experience remains consistent despite having a 4th generation Corei3 and an extra 4GB of RAM compared to him.
