I just finished assembling my new PC. It features a B550M chipset with DS3H, a Ryzen 7 5800X processor, and two 16GB 3600MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM modules. Whenever I attempt to install XMP, the machine restarts twice and resets the settings to defaults. I don’t want my RAM running at 2133MHz despite paying for 3600MHz. I’ve updated the BIOS and checked nearly every online guide.

You need to purchase RAM compatible with your motherboard for consistent performance.
