Hello, I have the Toshiba Satellite L850-1V0 and it comes with a built-in CD key for Windows 8. I need to reinstall Windows 8 but I’m having trouble locating a legal version and don’t want to upgrade to Windows 8.1. Can you find a link where I can download the CD key or get some assistance?

It doesn’t make logical sense to move up to 8.1 since it contradicts what you’re aiming for.

I prefer Windows 8 over Win 8.1 because I already understand how to create a USB drive for installation.

Why are you choosing Windows 8?! Installing Windows 8 would be a mistake. Windows 8.1 is actually ten times better than Windows 8. The early version was disappointing, but I really like Windows 8.1.
