I have a vintage laptop that still functions but runs slowly. Since I don’t use it much, I’m considering an upgrade for occasional tasks. The specs are confusing, so I’ve attached CPU-Z snapshots. I’m planning to replace the CPU and want to know if a new one will fit. I know it’s a Sandy Bridge chip, but I’m unsure if all models support it. What options do I have?

The optimal choice is to insert an SSD into the system and set up Windows there. This isn't a high-performance processor by any standard. Also, provide a snapshot of the memory usage on the CPU.

For a laptop I would suggest to add a SSD and additional ram if it has an empty slot. Don't think it's worth it to upgrade the CPU for another laptop Pentium.

It doesn't make sense with such a basic chipset. You could also install a 4GB RAM stick for better performance. However, the SSD would be the optimal choice.
