In recent years, the upcoming release is scheduled for September and will require significant resources. Your setup doesn’t meet the required specifications, especially at 4K resolution. GTA 5 was designed for older hardware and will run smoothly on lower-end systems compared to newer titles such as Cyberpunk 2077. At this stage, purchasing upgrades for these platforms isn’t practical. Used DDR3 parts are quite costly, and high-end CPUs from LGA1155/LGA1150 models remain expensive (for reasons I can’t fully understand). A 16GB DDR3 module costs around $50 on eBay used. You can purchase a 2x8GB DDR4 3000 memory pack for about $65. The AMD Ryzen 1600AF new with a decent cooler is roughly $110-130 (Newegg). An LGA1150 4790k model is available in Europe for €180-200. It’s unclear which option is superior, but Z87 and Z97 boards are currently priced around $100. New boards for those parts are also affordable. People seem to choose these options despite the challenges. A capable system with a Ryzen 1600AF, 16GB DDR4 memory, and a suitable mainboard can be assembled for about $275-300, offering much better performance than spending on your current setup. Many prebuilt systems come with proprietary connectors; regular boards usually have standard ATX and EPS ports. If yours has standard connectors and you have a reliable power supply, you’re in a good position. What kind of power supply do you have? Given the situation and market conditions, this choice seems quite unwise. You might explore used modern parts, but there are excellent deals available. The older hardware is often overpriced. Don’t invest in that platform—consider switching to something more up-to-date. Look for used DDR4 memory, but keep an eye on current prices; there are great opportunities now.
