Hey everyone! Has anyone tried boosting an i9-10900k to 5.1 GHz? I'm new to this and not sure how to proceed. My setup includes a NZXT Kraken x73 with a ROG Maximus XII Hero, 32GB of 3200MHz RAM, and an 850W power supply. After running Cinebench R23, the performance peaked at around 71°C on the hottest core. The scores were 16055 for multi-core and 1308 for single-core.

I followed this manual to boost my 10700k, think the process for your 10900k will be quite alike. Overclocking - Basic Intel 10700k Overclock ALL CORE 4.9 GHZ (Free OC) - YouTube He also created 5.0 and 5.1ghz versions. Just type "5.0ghz 10700k oc" and you should locate a video by him with the same name. It’s best to read each guide thoroughly and run benchmarks for at least a few minutes before progressing.

I successfully reached 5.1ghz while maintaining good temperatures. Your multi-core score improved to 16522—great job!
