I can assist with moving Windows 10 to an SSD. Let me know the details you need help with!
I was attempting to transfer my operating system onto an SSD, but encountered an issue. After installing my Intel 730 SSD some time ago and switching to Windows 10, a system reserved partition ended up on the SSD (photo included). It seems likely this is Windows Boot Manager, since the BIOS indicates WBM is attached there. I’m unsure how it happened because I believed the Windows setup went to the same disk I was upgrading from. When trying to clone my previous drive with EaseUS, the system partition was already on the target disk. I attempted to move it back to my OS drive but couldn’t. I don’t want to format the drive or reinstall Windows, as I fear that could cause further problems. Besides a clean install, what options do I have?
Sadly, I have too many files on my computer that I want to preserve. If anyone can assist me in resolving this issue, I’ll be okay with using what I have. My system starts Windows in roughly 25 seconds, and I was thinking about boosting performance further.
SSDs offer far more than just faster startup times. Simply transfer the data.
