I can assist with installing new windows. Let me know what you need help with!
I upgraded my PC with brand new components from original equipment, including a power supply, MOBO parts, RAM, CPU, and HDD. I’ve been attempting to install Windows by changing the boot options on CD and a pen drive, adjusting the BIOS settings to boot from any drive. When I save and restart, it just restarts back into BIOS without progress. I’m unsure what’s wrong—I haven’t done this before, though I know the basics. On my first try with an old HDD, everything worked smoothly; the motherboard connected immediately and the Windows install started. Now it’s frustrating and taking a while. Could anyone offer advice or tips to help me resolve this issue?
Which motherboard are you using? I'm checking since different systems require specific keys like F8, F11, or F12 to access boot options.
Using a USB drive to set up Windows has finally gotten the BIOS running, but I kept seeing that frustrating error about the missing CD/DVD driver. The A button or the boot menu just didn’t respond. I checked every USB port, but none worked. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I’ve tried all the ports and still can’t access the necessary drivers. Thanks for any advice!
