While I usually get solid FPS in most titles, some games require a much higher frame rate—sometimes dropping from 60 to 30 FPS in just two seconds. I play mainly FPS games, but also enjoy MMO and RPG titles. My current setup includes:

Play Maximus VII Hero with GTX 970, Hyper EVO 212, and boost your CPU to 4.2 GHz or higher.
You won’t require a high-end Maximus VII Hero to achieve solid overclocking on an i7-4770K, though a midrange Z87 or Z97 setup would work well. The 770 model might benefit from upgrades, but at 1080p it should perform adequately. These Arma titles aren’t especially optimized for performance.
