I can assist with ASUS GTX 950 overclocking.
Hello tom's team. I'm attempting to overclock my ASUS Strix GTX 950. The stock base clock, boost clock, and memory clock are set at 1026, 1190, and 6610 respectively. I'm using a stock cooler and have increased them to 1166, 1330, and 8200 without adjusting the voltage, relying on ASUS GPU Tweak 2 for overclocking. On a stock cooler, my core clock is capped at 1166 and the memory clock reaches up to 8200, which is higher than other websites' overclocked results. Now I'm considering lowering the memory clock back to 7610 for safety. I've used MSI Combuster and Furmark for stability tests and also ran Rise of the Tomb Raider, finding no crashes or artifacts. Everything seems stable so far. I'm thinking about pushing the memory clock back to 8200 again. One thing is, during testing and gaming, my GPU temperature has stayed below 72 degrees Celsius. I'm wondering whether pushing the memory clock to 8200 would be beneficial or if I should stick with 7610. Will there be any advantages, or am I risking GPU failure? Thanks.
