Configure your main DNS to 1.1.1.1 and the backup to 8.8.8.8. The issue is relying on your internet service provider's DNS settings.

I recognized it as those troublemakers at my ISP—hate them all now. I have to purchase a new router since I can't set up this one with DNS.

ISPs can't handle this on their own—they need your parents' approval. They provide options and require opt-in, which makes this happen. If you're with your parents, they likely included this in their plan or you were mistakenly added. I recommend discussing it with them first, or contacting your ISP if they don't know.

It's not your ISP, likely an option on your router such as OpenDNS. You can configure DNS locally on any device so it bypasses the router's settings. A VPN should also help. Cloudflare's secondary IP is 1.0.0.1. Avoid relying on Google.

You still have control over the device even without router access.

You might still apply alternative DNS settings on each device separately. Since I haven’t used an iPhone or Mac, I can’t advise directly, but the instructions on this site could assist: http://www.idownloadblog.com/2016/03/05/...-settings/ For Windows, refer to: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-change-d...ws-2626242

Test it on your phone to check consistency. If differences appear, it’s likely a computer.
