Configure your main DNS to 1.1.1.1 and the backup to 8.8.8.8. The issue is relying on your internet service provider's DNS settings.
ISPs can't handle this on their own—they need your parents' approval. They provide options and require opt-in, which makes this happen. If you're with your parents, they likely included this in their plan or you were mistakenly added. I recommend discussing it with them first, or contacting your ISP if they don't know.
