I purchased that SSD from various retailers. In the past, I experienced problems with Crucial P3 drives from Amazon, which were either poorly made or fake, lasting only a couple of weeks before the controller stopped working. If the P310 model shares similar issues, please return it promptly. Among the SD brands I’ve used over time—Kingston, Western Digital, Lexar, XPG/Adata—I haven’t encountered any problems. Compatibility should generally work, though it can vary in real-world use. I didn’t have issues with the brands I mentioned earlier regarding compatibility. Just ensure you can return the SSD if it doesn’t function correctly in your system.
I fixed the problem. After trying multiple SSD slots, I used my brother’s brand new PC and still faced the same issue—PC wouldn’t boot. I suspect it might be related to the SSD itself, even though removing it didn’t help. I purchased a new one from Amazon and noticed others reported similar problems.
