After running some tests with Cinebench R23 while monitoring my thermal and clock data, I observed a few notable observations. The benchmark consistently reached only a single-core speed of around 4.9ghz, whether using Cinebench or CPUZ's multicore test. It seems the core clocks for all cores were roughly 4.3ghz. I'm using a Deepcool AK620 dual tower cooler, and temperatures stayed low at about 62°C during full load. Interestingly, the chip itself was drawing only 124 watts—what a surprising figure! I didn’t focus on the E core clocks and assumed they weren’t relevant. My CPU is a 3600MHz Hit 64GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance, running on Windows 10. I’m wondering if these components might be influencing the results. Have you experienced anything similar? Let me know if you need help adjusting BIOS settings or Windows configurations.

Make sure multicore enhancement is enabled so the CPU can run at its intended performance. Alternatively, manually adjust the settings to 4.8-5g across all cores at 1.2-1.25vcore if the board is drawing excessive voltage (over 1.3v for 5g is too high). Clocking a 64gb chip is challenging, so consider adding more system agents or checking other IMC voltages. Check the thaiphoon burner for information on RAM usage and see what other users report in terms of speeds.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not overly concerned about the RAM speed right now; size seems more crucial. I might check it again later if a future BIOS release addresses that issue. Also, MCE—EURICA! I hadn't considered that before, especially for a K series chip. I'll power it on and see if it significantly impacts both speed and thermals.

Additionally, the board indicates approximately 1.2v Vcore.

The standard long-term turbo capacity for a 12700K is 125W. To boost performance, ensure your turbo power caps, PL1 and PL2, are correctly configured. HWiNFO can help determine the actual settings. Adjusting both caps to 300W or higher lets the CPU operate at full speed without power restrictions.

Thanks! I figured out the problem, but I didn’t run MCE yet.
