It's strange, but since I don't have kids, it's not my issue. Why isn't there a peak in the chart that matches this? It should be around 18 miles tall.

Since it's unsigned data, it only accepts values from 0 to its maximum limit, ignoring any negative numbers. Once the data fell below zero, it automatically jumped to the opposite end of the range, which is the maximum value. Such behavior can occur due to odd rounding problems.
