I'm not an audio expert but I've faced USB issues with my Ryzen. While searching for solutions I came across many audio producers who reported USB DAC noise in their Ryzen setups which didn't happen on Intel systems. It seems like it hasn't been fixed for them. This might be a reason to consider going back to Intel. I'm not sure if this applies to the AE-9, which appears to be a PCIe device.

IIRC corsair ram had compatibility problems with AMD. I'm using Crucial in my setup. Most of the builds I made for others use G-skill without issues. I haven't used Gigabyte's Windows-based BIOS tool before. I connected it via USB, placed it in the dedicated BIOS flash port, and updated my system that way.

Gly's abandoned mine exploration is running smoothly so far. I might have fixed the freezes, but I'm sure Icue has been the biggest performance booster for this system.
This PC handles tasks much quicker than my old one, but from the start, programs didn't load as quickly with 128GB of RAM. I'm not sure how long it will last, but it worked well tonight after I ran Icue.

I've gotten some great info from here. If there's a freeze in the next week or so, then we'll know that Icue wasn't the main culprit, and then I can try and tackle the BIOS update for USB.
When one had Task Manager pulled up during the time icue was running (until yesterday), System would often be taking an unusual amount of CPU. It's down to 0.7% to 1.5, now, although that is only about an hour after a fresh reboot.
