Hi, I followed the instructions from MSI’s video for updating the motherboard. At first it worked but after roughly five minutes the screen went dark. I kept it away from the BIOS update as recommended. After three hours with no improvement, I had to power it off, but now it won’t start or show any power indicator. I’ve tried removing the CMOS battery and shorting the connector for a long time, but nothing changed. Any other options? Is it completely dead? Motherboard model: MSI Pro B660M - G, and I was upgrading from the 12th to the 14th generation CPU.

Consider removing the RAM modules and replacing just one.

The same applies to the earlier CPU. The board is probably only requiring a manual BIOS update. A typical PC repair service can handle this task. MSI assistance is recommended first.
