Old PC was an itx build I made two years ago using a B660M-ITX with 13700k, 6800xt, and 2x16 DDR4 3600. I’m not sure about the PSU. After adjusting the BIOS, I restarted and it stopped working every time I reset the CMOS and turned it on. When I pressed the power button, I heard a small click from the PSU. I bought a new PSU, case, MOBO, and RAM. Now I have an Asus Prime B760M-A with 13700k, 6800xt, 2x16 DDR5 6000 and RM850x. It doesn’t need a CMOS reset to start fans briefly before shutting down completely, and there’s no GPU output visible. All PSU cables are securely connected. Should I replace the CPU? Should I check the CPU for bent pins? Could I try installing one stick of RAM? My best guess is the CPU might be dead, but I can’t confirm the other parts because I don’t have a spare CPU to test. Please advise.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! You might consider removing the discrete GPU and testing if display works through your motherboard's ports since your processor has an integrated graphics unit. Should I check the CPU for bent pins? Yes. How are you keeping the processor cool? Should I try using a single stick of RAM? You may want to review this guide: "No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist. This list combines advice from many forum members. Following each step carefully is essential for effective troubleshooting. 1.Did you...

I used a 1 RAM stick, but nothing worked. The GPU was iGPU, and there was no activity. All the RAM slots were in use.

verified the CPU connections, no bent pins detected, would it be better to replace it?

Updated: I replaced the CPU and tested with one RAM stick, but nothing works and it won’t enter POST. I’m unsure what to do next and suspect there might be some leftover thermal paste in the socket. I really don’t know how to proceed. Please help.

Checked CPU, MOBO, 1 stick RAM, CPU power, MMO power, AIO cooler power. Tried jump, fans spun up for a second then stopped immediately. No display output.

purchased a new CPU and am testing its compatibility, considering only the most imaginable solution—if it fails, I’ll return the new components and start over.

The 13th and 14th generation Intel CPUs are extremely problematic, with both the CPU and power supply failing completely.
