It seems the system assumes a controller is connected, even after disconnecting it. All controls are configured as buttons, which makes it hard to use properly. No one has found a fix online, but someone might be able to assist.

Navigate to devices and printers, locate the controller, right-click it and select remove device.

I considered the same idea, although there’s nothing or at least the controller isn’t, since I mentioned disconnecting it before use

It doesn't matter if the device is removed; the issue lies with the faulty driver. You need to uninstall it.
