I used PowerLine and compared the results. PowerLine showed better performance for gaming with lower ping and upload speeds.

WiFi is clearly superior to powerline. A direct Ethernet connection is even better. You might also consider creating a mesh WiFi network. Powerline isn’t ideal because your home’s wiring wasn’t built for fast data transfer. Plus, interference from appliances like the stove, fridge, lamps, and microwaves can disrupt the signal.

Powerline relies on the quality of the cables and their compatibility, so in your situation Wi-Fi appears to be a more suitable option.
