Help needed, my motherboard had BIOS version F2. After updating to F3i, it showed a display and asked me to enter my password. When I typed it correctly, it said the entry was wrong and froze at the password field. I’m stuck and don’t want to restart the PC to avoid damaging the motherboard. The BIOS light on the boot drive is flashing red, and the mini display shows D8. Anyone have any advice?

Power off the system, remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes to reset BIOS settings, then restart it.
