Whenever I start my operating system, lines appear on my screen. Even though I'm using MSI Afterburner, I can remove it via the BIOS.

it's hard to recall any instance of a software causing a GPU or VRAM to overheat through overclocking, especially with the latest cards. it seems unclear how much voltage could be increased without issues, unless integrated graphics are present.

Open Windows in safe mode, press the F8 key to achieve this. Uninstalling software via BIOS isn't possible unless you have an integrated operating system such as Wininki or similar. Alternatively, use the onboard video output if available, ensuring the graphics card is disabled or removed first.

if you instructed afterburner to apply the overclock during startup, pressing ctrl when the computer boots will take precedence, allowing you to adjust the setting.

Yeah, I told afterburner to boot right away when my PC starts. It worked for about a minute and two, but then it just went to a black screen. I also tried what you suggested before, but it didn’t help.

if afterburner operates in safe mode, shut it off or lower your overclock, remove afterburner, or prevent it from starting up. remember that ctrl is the override key—either you aren’t pressing it at the right moment (like when windows begins to load) or your keyboard isn’t being recognized promptly enough.

I just caused a major issue with my PC. It's in safe mode now, but I turned off AMD Control Catalyst and it's not displaying anything on the screen.
