I really don’t understand what I’m doing. I attempted to copy my SSD to an HDD so I could replace the old one, but it’s been tricky and not going well. I’m using EaseUS Todo Backup for the cloning process, but I’m puzzled why it’s making my 1TB HDD match the size of my 120GB SSD. It seems like the cloning isn’t working properly. I feel lost and think I might have made a mistake.

Check Computer Management for the Disk Management area; you should see the HDD with unused partitions that need expansion. Also, consider using this disk cloning tool: https://www.ubackup.com/free-backup-software.html—it’s simpler and handles various sizes well.
