I assembled the machine from unused components but it isn't functioning.
Hello, My sibling recently upgraded his machine with new components and gifted me some additional items. I built another setup but it’s not functioning properly. Details: power supply Thermaltake TR2 S 700W, CPU Amd Ryzen 5 2600, motherboard ASRock B450M Pro4, RAM G.Skill Aegis 16GB DDR4 at 3000mt/s, GPU Gigabyte GTX 1060, SSD Intense High Performance 240GB. I’m uncertain if the issue is hardware or BIOS-related. After installing Windows 11 it failed. I’ve also tried without an SSD and sometimes it boots into BIOS, crashing occasionally. USB appears intact—files seem correct. I installed Windows on another machine using the same USB drive. In the picture this problem occurs with or without the SSD or drive; it can boot without either and still reach that page.
If you remove the USB connection, the drive should be able to boot using BIOS if it has a built-in boot option or if it supports removable storage.
Yes, the board should be set to F2 or DEL for entering the BIOS.
Could the issue stem from the motherboard itself? The RAM is brand new, yet I've already tested two different SSDs.
This should resolve the issue. The USB files might be damaged—consider reformatting them and rebuilding the Windows installation if needed.
