I own an ASUS Windows 8.1 Pro laptop and I’m trying to get Windows 10, but after updating with KB3035583 the "Windows 10 Update App" isn’t showing up. On the Microsoft forums it seems some users still need to update even if they have that KB release. My machine has a genuine Windows version because it came pre-installed. Help needed!!

I haven't received the notification yet. It seems to be working on genuine Windows 7 HE.

Make sure you're current with all updates. It seems to refresh around 8pm ET for me and others. Give it a bit more time. If it's still missing, check your Task Manager for a feature named "GWX."

I got mine on my bootcamped MacBook Pro last week, and just received one on my Asus 303 this morning. They’re releasing them in batches now—just hold on. You’ll have it soon.

You're correct! The codes KB3049508 and KB3035583 are associated with the error 80070bc9, win 8.1. I've looked through the internet for a fix, but I haven't found a solution yet.

The Microsoft forums discussed the issue without providing specific details. Regarding manual updates via CMD, it seems you're checking if that method worked.
