I'm having an issue in Fortnite (it's all I can play with my console friends). I notice I only get over 60fps in windowed mode. My laptop is decent, connected to a 144hz monitor via HDMI, and the display is stretched to 1440 by 1080 (4:3) at 120hz. In-game the frame rate counter shows 120fps, but I can confirm it's actually 60. When I set the frame rate cap to 60 in-game it matched. Switching to windowed mode made it smooth. I've reinstalled the game, contacted Epic (no response), checked everything—still nothing. It can't be a hardware problem because it works fine in CS:GO. I've searched for others with the same issue but haven't found anyone. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Are you sure your monitor is configured at 144hz? You'll need to adjust the Nvidia driver settings for it to function properly.

That's exactly what I did when I received the monitor.

It's odd since it's exclusive to Fortnite, and restoring it didn't resolve the issue.
