You're considering the Lian Li Dynamic XL with an Asus Rog X570 E motherboard. You're wondering if standoffs are necessary and whether using them might affect the rear I/O alignment with your ASUS O-DISP. It seems you're trying to avoid standoffs but are concerned about compatibility. If you add standoffs, the rear opening of the motherboard may no longer align properly. Since you're new to PC building, it's good to double-check these details before proceeding.
You need mounting brackets, and everything seems correctly positioned. Here’s an inside view of your enclosure without the motherboard. Note: It appears you might have a refurbished board. The BIOS Flashback button is absent. In the image below, the round button beneath the "BIOS FLBK" icon is present. Your motherboard only has an opening. You’re also missing the shield covering the audio SPDIF port. The cover seems to be inside but not accessible.
Hello. It appears to be new, though it seems to have been damaged during handling. Either it's defective or has been refurbished. I've secured everything with zip ties, but unless I noticed any missing components, it might just be a bag of spare standoffs. If the cutout matches, that suggests there are indeed standoffs present.
I didn't zip tie anything. Regarding the motherboard, I can't view or post images, but I can describe what you're asking about.
Before I shared this, everything had already been secured. It’s tough to take the wires out from the back now. Perhaps I should take a side view photo. Are these standoffs? If yes, did they just hand me another bag to use?
It seems the motherboard is firmly seated in the brackets. You’ll need to take out the screws to free it.
You received additional items, not just the standoffs. You can activate them right away once you press the power button.
