I am having trouble with my switch, and I need to fix it for a TENDA TEG1016D model.
Tenda sells things at a low price. That means they don't give you much help when something breaks. You might think buying a switch chip matters, but they just buy the chips from big companies like Broadcom. Almost every small switch right now has all ports working fast and smoothly together. They can handle 1 gigabit of data going up and down at the same time. These gadgets aren't that fancy. If you take one apart, you'll find a power supply, the main chip, and some other simple pieces to connect ethernet ports. It's hard to break them, but if it does happen, the fix depends on how good Tenda is with their warranty service.
Here is a simpler way to put it: You want to connect your internet provider, like DSL or Fiber, through a Mikrotik router. From that router, you can go straight into the TEG1016D switch. Then, from those other ports on the switch, you can plug in several gaming PCs.
Here is a simpler version with the same meaning:
"Exactly, that's right, and here is the picture, but only using Cat 6a UTP cable. I'm not sure if my switch supports this kind of wire yet. For future posts - please use English."
