I need to enhance my PC’s memory from 4 GB to 8 GB. My laptop is an HP 14 Intel N150 with 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD, running Windows 11 Home (model 14-dq6011dx). I’m in university and require software that needs at least 8 GB of RAM, so upgrading my PC’s memory makes sense.

What software are you planning to use?
This laptop is extremely underpowered. Even with 8GB compared to the current 4GB RAM, it will struggle.

Some HP N150 models come with a single RAM slot that can be upgraded up to 16 GB, but some come with soldered memory. The best way to make sure is to open it and check. But this is an extremely cheap and low-end laptop. Might be better to just replace the whole thing, honestly.

When using this program, ensure it has at least 8 GB of memory. If not, increase to a higher capacity.
