It successfully completed the memory test. Gigabyte evaluated the video card over 18 hours without any problems. I've tested both a 2080 and a 1660 graphics card for a week each, and everything ran smoothly without any crashes. Now it's possible the power supply or the new 12HVP cable might be the issue—unless GB is mistaken.
I believed the same idea was sent back to Gigabyte, who mentioned they performed an 18-hour test using 3DMARK, FURMARK, and SUPERPOSITION simultaneously. The device has been operating smoothly so far. Could you specify what you'd like us to check to ensure it doesn’t crash? Thank you.
It might handle long sessions without issues but then experience sudden crashes. A different GPU would work better. The power supply or motherboard could be causing problems. The board seems fine with another GPU, though the extra power usage might reduce voltage output. The GF3 performs well, but quality isn't guaranteed. Just to emphasize, this appears to be the GPU issue.
I handled it; Gigabytes Tech support confirmed no issues in their tests and returned the card. It seems like the problem might be with the GPU. Also, it appears they’re using a common phrase about not being responsible for the issue, which is typical from most PC brands I’ve worked with. Sending me a new 12HVP cable from Cablemods, I’ll give another try—but if you hear loud complaints, that will be my decision. Should I consider adding another 300+ to the power supply just to rule it out? This machine could turn into a financial loss quickly if I’m not careful.
I attempted several methods multiple times but appreciate your support.
