I followed what I mentioned in the title, and when I started playing Fallout 4, it was just the standard version... I’m not sure where I went wrong. Edit: I realize there’s a special Launch button, that’s what I pressed...

NMM is also capable of releasing games. The top-left area should display the launch option for FO4.

You're triggering the vanilla mode, but it's not enabled.

Did you make the necessary adjustments in the .ini files for modding Fallout 4? Edit: To turn on mod support, go to your Fallout 4 folder at "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4". Inside, find several .ini files. Click on "Fallout4Prefs.ini" and "Fallout4.ini", then right-click and choose Properties. Make sure they aren’t marked as read-only. Open "Fallout4Prefs.ini" in your preferred text editor (like Notepad++). At the very end, insert the line [Launcher] right below. Below that, add bEnableFileSelection=1. Save and close. Then open "Fallout4Custom.ini" with the same editor. Remember this file was changed after update 1.2. Add these lines to Fallout4Custom.ini: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=

Press the green plus on the left side to add a mod. After adding, double-click the mod in the mods list to install it. Once installed, launch the game and remember to update the .ini files. You’ll receive a warning during installation of your first mod.
